Abstract Renewable Energies and PV focus on Africa
Presenter:  Masaomi KOYAMA, International Renewable Energy Agency, Senior Programme Officer - Innovation and Technology, ARAB EMIRATES

Presenter's biography:
In recent years, Mr Koyama has been focusing on analytical works such as country analysis of renewable roadmap 2030 and capacity building supports in the IRENA Innovation and Technology Centre. Before joining IRENA, he had worked for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and has a long experience in policy planning, development of electricity sources, research and development of nuclear energy, regulation, communication and international cooperation in the energy field. He also has an experience of working for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna as a Public Information Specialist and had worked to improve the communication skills of communicators of member states. He worked to research the privatisation of UK’s electricity industry in the Department of Trade and Industry of the UK as a researcher of the Government of Japan.
